  • Betsy Strawn

DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS AND CURRICULUM, SPANISH EDUCATOR

Betsy brings more than a decade of experience across K–12 education, curriculum design, and instructional leadership. Now in her 12th year in the field, her work spans classroom teaching, coaching educators, and building rigorous, standards-aligned academic programs.

She has served as a secondary Spanish, Reading, and ESL teacher, as well as an Instructional Coach and Professional Learning Specialist. Betsy holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Business and Spanish, along with K–12 teaching certifications in Spanish and English as a Second Language.

In public education, Betsy taught students across proficiency levels, coached teachers, developed curriculum, and led professional learning initiatives. Most recently, she taught Spanish at Melissa ISD, where she worked with advanced learners and designed an International Baccalaureate (IB) Spanish curriculum aligned with high academic expectations. She has also worked with Carnegie Learning, a K–12 curriculum publisher, supporting schools nationwide in the implementation of research-based instructional materials aligned to state standards.

Beyond traditional school settings, Betsy founded and operated My Bilingual Tot for nine years, a language acquisition company serving PreK–12 students and adult learners through small-group instruction and private tutoring. The program partnered with private schools and Northwest ISD to deliver language enrichment at scale.

Betsy’s work is grounded in instructional clarity, curriculum coherence, and the belief that strong systems enable both students and educators to perform at their best.

    Ronald Hogsett

    MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ronald Hogsett applies a first-principles approach to education and development, shaped by his studies at Georgetown University, Syracuse University Madrid, and St. Charles University Prague, and culminating in a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
